hm - gute Frage, ich bin kein Metzger. Ich weiss dass es in Israel u. arabischen LÃ¤ndern Speck auch z.B. vom Truthahn gibt; das ist zwar eher ein FrÃ¼hstÃ¼cksschinken/Bacon, aber vielleicht lÃ¤sst sich das anstelle des Schweinespecks nehmen (ich weiss nicht ob es von Rindern auch RÃ¼ckenfett gibt).

Und die Schweineschwarte soll eigentlich nur etwas “Biss” geben, die gibt ja keinen Geschmack. Vielleicht durch Schwarte/Haut von ner Entenbrust ersetzen?

Das schmeckt sicher dann ein bisschen anders, aber wer nicht wagt, der nicht gewinnt (und nur weil’s anders schmeckt muss es nicht schlechter schmecken… Alfons Schubeck macht WeisswÃ¼rste mit Champagner, TrÃ¼ffel und Chili…)

wow -kann man auch irgendwelche tricks anstellen und sie ohne schwein (saudi arabien) herstellen. hier ist kein schweinefleisch erhaeltlich.

Neville,

thank you for your comment. About documentation: currently, there’s only the commented header file and three small examples. But i am currently working on a webpage with tutorials, a better documentation, FAQ etc. I guess i’m done in 2 or 3 weeks.

Also, i’m finishing the port to Win32 and Win64 platforms (and maybe Darwin and Linux on PowerPC). The Windows port has highest priority, and i hope that i can release it in 1 or 2 weeks.

I have plans for dual-licensing and selling a commercial version, but those plans are not yet very concrete.

Interesting to see a new lightweight DB engine. I can’t see any info on your site, other than the Blog.

eg.
1) Is there any documentation.
2) What are the features and limits.
3) Is there an overview of the DB engine.
4) Does it work in Windows.
5) Are there any plans to enable it to be used in commercial applications.

That’s a nice idea, thanks. This reminds me of a gcc behaviour upon parsing the “#pragma”-directive. Since pragmas are “implementation defined”, according to the C standard, gcc 1.34 started random games from /usr/bin/games…
